Our intent was to depart for points south but we’re still in Chesapeake City. The morning we were going to leave a heavy fog rolled in and the canal was closed to non commercial traffic. Later in the day the fog lifted and the sun came out. The winds have been very gusty out of the south so we’re going to hang out here until conditions are favorable. Yesterday we split cab fare to Walmart, with two other cruisers, and did some shopping. Today I borrowed one of the city’s bicycles and went to the next town north to get one of our propane tanks filled, it was a great ride. It has been very cold, in the upper 30s this morning, so we are burning through the propane pretty fast. Well we’re in no great rush now so we will leave here in a day or two.

Yesterday we were invited to happy hour on our neighbor’s boat. They were fantastic people and we had a great time.
That’s it for now. We will update again soon. If it’s cold here it must be freezing back home. Stay warm!
The pictures of fog are amazing!
