Well, it’s November and the original plan was to head back out again this fall. As with most cruising plans, we are now on Plan B! We’ve decided to hang out in Florida until the next cruising season. We’ve been working for the last few months adding some cushion to our cruising kitty. So next time we leave, we won’t just go for the Bahamas cruising season. Our new plan is to head to Key West and then to the Bahamas for a couple months. From there we will venture further into the Caribbean ending up in Grenada for the summer hurricane months. This was a long-term goal so we’re excited that its actually firming up! We do have a few minor boat projects to keep us busy while we’re waiting – adding a couple more solar panels, refining the watermaker, lots of sanding and varnishing. We plan to put the boat back in the water next month and move her to a marina just a few miles north of us. With the boat closer we will have a greater opportunity to complete all (most) of our projects. We will update more frequently and keep you posted as the time gets closer!
