We’re almost ready. Just a few days away from departure, we are tying up loose ends. We are so busy we haven’t taken many pictures and the next update will be after we depart. Fuel and water are full, we have so much food aboard we don’t have space for it. The dinghy and motor are aboard and the house is so empty now it echoes! We are stashing spare parts today and making space to move aboard tomorrow. The weather has been widely varied here so we will depart when we have a decent window. Until then here are a few random pictures…
I put a new inline TDS meter on the watermaker so the water can be tested automatically:
Installed new backstay lines:
Scuba tanks mounted:
Load after load of food, fuel and parts:
The boat is sitting very low now, there’s about an inch of waterline left:
Tanya brought the dinghy across the river so we can haul it up:
We are almost ready:
Looking very good. The list must be just about done. Talk to you soon.
Love ya!
Looks awesome! So exciting! To say I’m a little bit jealous would be a HUGE understatement!!
