We have been enjoying St Martin for the past few days and are getting ready to depart soon. I found a few pictures of our trip through Virgin Gorda that I thought were nice and decided to put them up before we leave.
While in the BVIs we stopped at The Baths on the southwest tip of Virgin Gorda. We had a great time snorkeling around these huge boulders.

From The Baths we moved up to the north sound and took a mooring at The Bitter End Yacht Club.
We spent several days in the north sound enjoying the yacht club, snorkeling the reefs and exploring the town and Leverick Bay Resort. http://www.leverickbay.com/
Reef along the entrance to the North Sound of Virgin Gorda. The reef and coral were beautiful but I can’t seem to capture it on my Gopro. Someday I will get a better camera, or learn to take better pictures.
Massive field of old conch shells:
…dinner later…
After a night at the yacht club we anchored around the corner in the lee of Prickley Pear Island and toured the sound:
Leverick Bay Resort:
This guy was trying out a jetski powered jet pack but never really made it out of the water more then chest high so we left… The guy is in the water to the left of the jetski:
Then happy hour at The Sand Box on Prickley Pear with Renegade and Tribasa Cross:
We wanted to spend some time in Antigua but it just isn’t going to happen until fall. It’s 100 mile trip to the southeast and the winds and seas are out of the southeast for the next millenia. Our plan right now, subject to change, is St Kitts and then…
We will post our St Martin pictures when we can.
The Bath’s looks as good as I remember it. However when I was there we were almost the only boat anchored. Sure has become more popular even in the slow season. You’ll be back that way again I am sure. Love, Dad/Bob
Maybe Antigua is a good meeting place in the fall if all works out?? We’ll see! Miss you both.
