Revisited

Here are some pictures from our stops along the way.

While in Cape May we planned to leave at high tide, so did the Coast Guard. They closed the channel until this cutter got under way (we’re still working on taking pictures on a moving boat):

From Cape May NJ we went into Atlantic City:

Entering Atlantic City inlet:

We anchored waaaay down by that bridge:

Leaving Atlantic City at 0400!

From AC we turned North to New York. Here are some shots of the sunrise:

Once we rounded Sandy Hook we headed back South to Atlantic Highlands and picked up a mooring at the AH Yacht Club. This was a great stop deep in a man made harbor, really protected. We didn’t even need to use the dinghy because the mooring fee includes unlimited use of the yacht club launch. Very nice town, nice people, great place to stop!

We’ll upload some more pictures at a later date. Right now we are on a mooring at Block Island and there is a “wicked rippin” storm blowing through. Big trawler behind us dragged a mooring… we’re fine though!
