We made it safely to Onset MA. Anchor is down, garlic bread in the oven, pasta boiling. It’s freaking cold up here!! More later!

Not too exciting but it was a nice place to stop!

We’re still here at Block Island. Yesterday we set out for Buzzard’s Bay but turned back after an hour of smashing into six foot seas. Yesterday it was very windy with rain, today it’s mainly a steady soaking rain. We are at anchor just inside the pond, it’s pretty still here right now. It looks like we may have a weather window to get to Cuttyhunk or Onset tomorrow, we’ll see.

We’re still at Block Island and we had a great day today! Although it’s really chilly here right now it was sunny and beautiful during the day. We rented a scooter and drove around the entire island.

Before renting the scooter we had to fill the water tanks, fun stuff. We loaded the water jugs into the dinghy, drove to the dock, filled up and then back to the boat…over and over and over again…

So the sun was in my eye…

After that we rented the scooter and drove around the island, we had a blast! This is our “having a blast face”:

All the good wifi signals are locked. When we find a good signal we will upload more pictures. Block Island has been a great place to stop but we have to move on. Weather permitting we will set out for Onset MA or end up in Cuttyhunk or Woods Hole. Will update again later!
